CPR awareness (and therefore performing CPR) remains relatively low in our community.
A person suffering cardiac arrest or heart attack in public (or at home) is heavily reliant on bystanders/ family members stepping up and giving urgent and potentially life saving CPR.
95% of the time a person is required to perform CPR it will be on someone they know or love. This might be someone in your family, a workmate or your friend.
Survival rates can be drastically improved by the hands alone - it could be your hands.
